Third on the Uthrive label is natural flavours. This is where the character of each can comes from: Passionfruit, Orange, Pineapple and Lime. It is also where we drew a firm line. Natural flavours only, and no artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners.

What are natural flavours?
Natural flavours are flavourings that come from natural sources, such as fruit and plants, rather than being made from scratch in a lab. They are used in small amounts to give a drink a clear, recognisable taste. In our recipe they are what makes a Passionfruit can taste like passionfruit and a Lime can taste like lime.
Where they come from
Each flavour in the range is built around its fruit. The natural flavours sit alongside a splash of apple juice, which rounds out the taste, and a little citric acid, which adds a gentle tang. Together they give Uthrive its fresh, fruity profile without leaning on sugar.
The flavours
- Passionfruit: bright and tropical.
- Orange: clean, familiar citrus.
- Pineapple: sweet and juicy, without added sugar.
- Lime: crisp and zesty. Lime is currently sold out.
Why they are in Uthrive
A drink only works if you want to drink it. Great flavour is what turns a can of electrolytes into something you look forward to. We wanted a natural hydration drink in Australia that tasted genuinely good, without artificial colours to make it look bright or artificial sweeteners to make it taste sweet. Natural flavours let us do that.
