Our Story
WHERE IT STARTED
From the job to your fridge
Uthrive started on the job, not in a boardroom. Long shifts, heavy turnout gear on hot summer days, back-to-back callouts. Danny Burnett, our founder and a full-time firefighter, wanted a simple, natural drink he could grab from the fridge on the way out the door. He couldn't find one.
So between shifts, he built his own. Real salt from an Australian lake, real fruit, nothing artificial. That drink became Uthrive.
Independent, and proud of it. There's no big drinks company behind us. Just a firefighter, his family and a crew of people who back us. Every can you buy supports a small, Australian owned business, not a boardroom.

2023
The first bottles. Built between shifts and tested on the people who needed it most.
2024
Into cans. Lightly sparkling, in recyclable aluminium cans.
HYROX
Two years as HYROX hydration partner.
AUSTRALIA WIDE
On shelves nationally. Airports, recovery centres, health food stores, gyms, workplaces and vending machines. More than 75,000 drinks sold.
2026
Selected by CSIRO for the Thailand-Australia Venture Exchange Program. A new range made in Thailand lands around May 2027: a 330mL can, a 325mL PET bottle and new flavours.
2027
Into Asia. Launches planned in Thailand and Korea. Same Lake Deborah salt.
Uthrive EXP, August 2027. Small trips to real places with good people.
