Uthrive started in a firefighter's garage with one goal: a natural hydration drink we're proud of from the salt to the can. Here's how we make it, and what we're working on next.
Why it matters to us
Sustainability isn't new to our founder
Before Uthrive, Danny worked at Potato Head in Bali, a hotel known around the world for its sustainability and waste reduction work. His boss there was CEO Simon Pestridge, who is now a Uthrive advisor. He's walked through recycled plastic facilities like this one and seen what it really takes to turn waste into something useful.
That's the standard he holds Uthrive to: every can, every ingredient and every supplier.

Where it began
Born in Bali, built on giving back
The very first Uthrive was mixed by hand in a villa kitchen in Bali. Giving back has been part of it from day one, from supporting a children's home in Bali to backing frontline workers here at home.

THE FACTORY
Made in Thailand, with solar
Our drinks are made in Thailand in a factory fitted with solar panels, so the sun that makes you thirsty helps make your Uthrive.
THE CAN
Aluminium, made to be recycled
Aluminium cans can be recycled again and again. Rinse it, pop it in the recycling or a container deposit point, and it comes back as something new.

Fair work, in writing
We're building ethics and human rights terms into our manufacturing agreement, so the people who make Uthrive are treated the way we'd want to be.

Backing frontline workers
Australian owned and founded by a firefighter. Through Frontline Stories, emergency service workers share their story and get Uthrive at wholesale prices.
What we're working on
Our goal: the most ethical drink on the shelf
